Going on leave tomorrow! It's either going to be really exciting or really lonely, either way, it'll be an awesome experience. When I get back, the next thing to look forward to is home. It'll 18 months that I was away from home, and I've seen, learned and grew a great deal. Some of you might notice some changes. So here's a question: What are some changes in me that you would like to see? You know, if I were to come back as a brand new Derek, how would you like him to be? Like a new years resolution thing, a self improvement attempt. Be honest. I'll try to post some pics of my Euro trip, but hopefully I won't be spending all my time in internet cafes.

there's no need to change you...self improvement is exact what it says. it's not self change. id call it self enhancement. better to enhance than to change. enhance by believing in what you believe in but more. =D take skills you have now and become more skillful in them. take what you like and do it more...that's all....simple =D

I say go with the Yellow contacts! On second thought maybe not, I don't think voters would vote for a candidate with yellow eyes.

I've been thinking, I think you might be safe going with red contacts. People don't seem to mind voting for people with red eyes, I mean they've elected Tom Delay to Congress despite his evil red beaty eyes, haven't they?

I just checked out that site posted by Zerakinterra- What a bunch of crap! I read through most of the site and found that somehow they forgot to acknowledge that apart from the constitution, their free speech is also guaranteed by the troops that defend our country (and by extension, its constitution!). Maybe we should send them to talk to Osama, Hussein, the mullahs in Iran or even nice Fidel Castro and see how they like their way with people.
