I am stationed at Camp Buehring in Kuwait. As far as I know, there are three camps in Kuwait. Buehring, Arifjan, and Doha. Today I had an eye appointment at Camp Arifjan, but the commander can only arrange a convoy to Doha, so a friend of mine who also had Lasik done, went to Doha with me, and took the shuttle to Arifjan, then back here to Doha. The convoy left already so we'll be spending the night here, which is great since there's a widescreen TV here playing movies and unlimited internet access. It's in a warehouse, but with all the amenities, it might as well be the Hilton of Kuwait. This was a great opportunity to ride around and see Kuwait a bit instead of being confined in the middle of nowhere. Command is still uncertain of how long we'll be here in Kuwait, but I'll let you guys know when I know. Thanks for the kind words and the votes of confidence but I'll bet there were plenty of shaking heads when the entry was read, don't lie. This site was a great idea, it gives me something to look forward to. You guys should update your pages more often. Oh yea, Starbucks made it to Kuwait, I'll try posting some pics eventually.

Starbucks in Kuwait?? LOL....I can't even afford to buy Starbucks coffee, how can they?? It's good to know things are well.. Have fun out there!
